One can easily use words like comprehensive, thoughtful, balanced, insightful, and rigorous when talking about this book. The understanding that unfolds of the interaction between one of the most extraordinary organizations of our time and a rapidly changing global society is deep and dramatic.The modern university is one of the most complex organzational structures that has ever come into being.
